The municipality of Linares, in Jaén, hosted the VIII FP Pyme Fair, a key event for promoting Vocational Training and fostering cooperation among various stakeholders in the sector. The initiative, organized by the local Chamber of Commerce, showcased the opportunities offered by Vocational Training and its relevance for the region's economic development.

During the inauguration, a spokesperson for the Junta de Andalucía highlighted the "perfect collaboration" between the Delegation of Education and the Chamber of Commerce. They emphasized that the "DNA of Vocational Training is to adapt to the needs that companies have today in our province, in Linares and its region," and that fairs like this make the annual work and effort visible.
Meanwhile, a representative from the Diputación de Jaén stressed that this initiative has consolidated itself as an essential meeting point for companies, educational centers, and students. They added that the event combines "business experience and the educational field to bring young people closer to the different training and professional opportunities currently demanded by the productive fabric of the province."
The VIII FP Pyme Fair brought together companies, entities, and educational centers from various sectors. The main objective was to publicize the offer of Vocational Training and strengthen ties between the educational and business spheres. The exhibition included B2B meetings, competitions, raffles, and interactive activities. The Linares Chamber of Commerce organizes this event with the support of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, within the framework of the FSE+ Education and Training, Employment and Social Economy Program 2021-2027, and the collaboration of the City Council.
