Electric mobility in Cordoba remains at a marginal level

The vehicle fleet in the Province of Cordoba shows low penetration of sustainable vehicles, with Zero-label models accounting for just 0.92% of all passenger cars.

According to General Directorate of Traffic data for 2025, out of 408,050 registered passenger cars in the province, only 3,750 hold the blue badge. This figure contrasts with the dominance of internal combustion engines, where B and C labels group the vast majority of cars on the road.
The technical analysis reveals an aging fleet, with 103,968 cars lacking any environmental badge. Meanwhile, the ECO label shows higher adoption than the Zero label, totaling 18,314 vehicles. The total provincial fleet, including trucks, vans, buses, and motorcycles, reaches 597,792 units.
Regarding traffic density, Cordoba has a rate of 773 vehicles per thousand inhabitants. As for obtaining driving licenses, the practical driving test remains the most difficult, with a pass rate of 43% during the last statistical year.
