The Municipal Institute for Economic Development and Employment (Imdeec) has opened the 'Crece e Innova' aid call, aimed at strengthening Cordoban SMEs and self-employed individuals through funding for consolidation, innovation, and market expansion.

The Municipal Institute for Economic Development and Employment (Imdeec) has launched the new edition of the 'Crece e Innova' incentives, designed to support the maintenance, consolidation, and growth of companies in Cordoba. The initiative seeks to foster innovation, digital transformation, and facilitate market expansion, as announced by the organization's president, Blanca Torrent.
The call starts with an initial budget of 636,000 euros, with a projection to reach 1,500,000 euros throughout the fiscal year. To maximize its effectiveness, the funding has been structured into four strategic lines.
The first line focuses on improving business excellence, covering expenses for process optimization and operational competitiveness, such as the implementation of ISO systems, quality certifications, environmental and safety certificates, energy audits, patent and trademark registration, and equality plans, with a maximum subsidy of 7,000 euros.
The second line supports strategic sectors such as fashion, jewelry, the primary sector, agro-industry, culture, and craftsmanship, financing e-commerce, web design, social media, participation in national and international fairs, and trade missions, with aid of up to 30,000 euros per beneficiary.
The third line maintains the commitment to historic taverns of Cordoba, subsidizing development, promotion, marketing, and technological adaptation expenses, with limits of 5,000 euros for beneficiaries from 2025 and 10,000 euros for new applicants.
The fourth line, a new initiative requested by the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE), offers financial support to cover expenses incurred for loans or guarantees aimed at acquiring fixed assets for business purposes, with a limit of 10,000 euros per applicant. This aid is considered a non-reimbursable grant with advance payment.
Eligible recipients are self-employed individuals, SMEs, social economy entities, community property, and registered professionals in Cordoba, registered in the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) before July 1, 2025, and who maintain their workplace and activity within the municipality. The period for subsidized expenses is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, except for the fourth line, which begins on September 1, 2025.
The application process will be entirely digital. The official period for submitting applications will be open from June 16 to June 30.
