The Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge has issued a favorable environmental impact statement for the Oleo Solar project, the final phase of the large photovoltaic park in Cabra.

This resolution, published in the Official State Gazette on April 13, marks a crucial step for the initiative that will complete the ambitious macro-energy complex in the municipality of Cabra. The Oleo Solar project joins the Ágata and Zafiro plants, which had previously obtained their respective environmental impact statements.
Driven by Desarrollos Ibéricos Fotovoltaicos SLU, the Oleo Solar project will have an installed capacity exceeding 80 MW. It will span an area of 367 hectares, and its final design includes the installation of 154,680 photovoltaic panels, distributed across three large enclosures.
The primary location for this infrastructure will be on land dedicated to intensive olive cultivation, approximately five kilometers northwest of the urban center of Cabra, thereby consolidating one of the most significant renewable energy projects in the province.
