Endesa's network subsidiary, e-distribución, has assured it will comply with the CNMC resolution to evaluate the electricity supply access capacity requested for 72 homes in Estepona.

Endesa, through its network subsidiary e-distribución, has stated it will comply with the resolution from the National Markets and Competition Commission (CNMC). This ruling mandates the company to assess and inform the Estepona City Council about the connection point's access capacity for a requested power of 831.46 kilowatts. This power is intended for the supply of 72 homes in the Alma building and 69 more planned in the La Calera execution unit.
e-distribución, as an operator of a regulated activity, has indicated that it always acts in accordance with electricity sector regulations and under the supervision of the CNMC. The company mentioned it was awaiting the resolution of the access and connection conflict raised by the Estepona City Council to proceed according to the regulatory body's decision.
The CNMC's resolution does not automatically grant electricity supply but obliges the company to conduct a technical evaluation of the access capacity for the new request. e-distribución's technical teams are already performing this assessment, in line with current regulations, aiming to ensure supply safety, quality, system efficiency, and equal treatment for all applicants.
The company concluded by acknowledging the "concern" of the affected families and pledged to act with "maximum diligence and institutional collaboration" to provide a "well-founded, transparent, and technically sound response" within the established timeframe.
