Key measures include the comprehensive renovation of the medium and low voltage grid in various areas of the municipality. Additionally, two new transformation centers will be constructed to more efficiently redistribute the electrical load.
Endesa is also evaluating the feasibility of a new medium voltage underground line to connect the Isla Cristina substation with the urban center, thereby strengthening the electrical supply.
Both the City Council and Endesa have emphasized the importance of close collaboration to expedite the necessary permit processes and coordinate works with other public road interventions, minimizing disruptions for residents and businesses.
These projects are part of e-distribución's Investment Plan for Huelva, focused on the renovation, automation, and improvement of distribution grids to progressively integrate renewable energies.
