The global payment platform Getnet, part of the Santander Group, and the company Zig have joined forces to transform sales management at the UD Almería Stadium. This initiative aims to streamline operations at food and beverage stands, reducing waiting times and improving efficiency during sports events.
This project represents the first joint collaboration between both companies in Spain, combining the robustness of Getnet's payment technology with Zig's specialized event software. The main goal is to optimize sales management in high-traffic environments, an experience they have already successfully implemented at Benfica's Da Luz Stadium in Lisbon.
Since its implementation, Getnet's Get Smart terminals, integrated with Zig's software, allow operators at catering points to manage sales more efficiently. Thanks to a digital catalog, manual entry of amounts is eliminated, minimizing errors in the collection process and ensuring fast and secure transactions.
“"This project demonstrates how technological integration can make a difference in high-demand environments. At Getnet, we are committed to open solutions that integrate with the best partners to offer our clients greater agility, control, and operational efficiency."
The solution has been specifically implemented at the stadium's food and beverage stands, where speed and accuracy are crucial, especially during match breaks. The native integration between the Get Smart POS and Zig's system automates the transfer of amounts, eliminates human errors, and accelerates the collection process, leading to improved reconciliation and financial control.
This initial collaboration in Spain aims to expand and continue growing in the field of sports events, festivals, and large venues, where speed, security, and technological integration are key factors for operational success.
