The supermarket chain Dia has announced the upcoming opening of a new establishment on Ollerías Avenue in Córdoba, reinforcing its presence in the Andalusian capital.

This new point of sale will be located in a large commercial premises, specifically at number 42 of the aforementioned avenue, where a sign has already been placed announcing the imminent inauguration. The conditioning works are visible to passers-by, with machinery and waste containers indicating the ongoing construction.
The space that the new supermarket will occupy was previously a large Asian bazaar that had been inactive for some time. With this opening, Dia will add a new establishment to the twelve supermarkets it already operates in the Cordovan capital, according to information available on its website.

According to an Alimarket report on the self-service, supermarket, and hypermarket sector in Andalusia in 2024, Dia was positioned as the fifth chain with the largest sales area in the province of Córdoba. At the end of that fiscal year, the company had 19,547 square meters of commercial space, distributed among 39 establishments, representing 7.1% of the total sector in the province.
