The participation, announced by the delegate for Economic Development, Promotion, and Employment of the Provincial Council, Félix Romero, aims to bring together executives and professionals from large distribution, retail, Horeca channel, high gastronomy, and the agri-food industry to promote the value, identity, and origin of Cordoban products.
Romero highlighted that Auténtica 2026 is a national and international event that gathers 12,000 professionals and 321 exhibiting firms in a 15,000 square meter space. The event will feature the participation of approximately 267 experts across six stages, where over 200 conferences, conversations, and tastings will take place to address the challenges of food and gastronomy.
The Cordoban companies attending under the 'Sabor a Córdoba' umbrella are: Almazaras de la Subbética (Carcabuey), Alvear (Montilla), Vinos Francisco Arrabal (Montilla), Belloterra Delicatessen (Añora), Bodega Vega Natun (Córdoba), Bodegas Toro Albalá (Aguilar de la Frontera), Isidro Castillejo SL (La Granjuela), Cortijo de Suerte Alta SL (Baena), Mielinízate (Villa del Río), Membrillo El Quijote (Puente Genil), Patatas Fritas Maribel (Moriles), Patatas Raquel Food (Cañete de las Torres), Pérez Barquero (Montilla), Quiviroliva, Rodríguez Chiachio SL (Cabra), Setacor Micología (Villafranca de Córdoba), Sociedad Cooperativa Virgen de la Torre (La Victoria), and Sucesores Hermanos López (Luque).
The president of Iprodeco also emphasized the international scope of the fair, facilitating contact between companies and operators from United Arab Emirates, United States, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, South Korea, India, Philippines, Thailand, among others.
Within the framework of Auténtica 2026, Cordoban companies will present their most innovative products, demonstrating that Córdoba combines tradition and quality with innovation and avant-garde. Among the notable presentations are the premium bitter orange vinegar from Bodega Vega Atún, the wines Ocaso and Pa’ Dentro from Bodegas Francisco Arrabal, and the sparkling wine G1 Brut Nature from Bodegas Pérez Barquero, developed in collaboration with the University of Córdoba.
Romero concluded that participation in fairs like this generates economic and business opportunities, as well as job creation for the towns in the province of Córdoba, strengthening the presence and recognition of the 'Sabor a Córdoba' brand.
