The trade balance of Córdoba shows a positive trend, managing to reduce imports by 15.7% to 923 million euros. This performance has allowed the province's trade surplus to rise to 682.7 million euros, consolidating a coverage rate of 173.96%, one of the highest nationwide.
Córdoba's export dynamism stands out in the current context, positioning itself as the fifth Spanish province with the highest growth in foreign sales. The key sectors driving this volume are copper manufactures and olive oil, which account for approximately 60% of the province's total exports.
In detail, sales of non-chemical semi-manufactures have seen a 22.3% increase, reaching 594 million euros. Conversely, the food, beverage, and tobacco sector has recorded a slight decline in exports, standing at 589 million euros during the same period.
Despite these results, Córdoba maintains a distinct position compared to the main exporting provinces of Andalusia, such as Sevilla, Huelva, Almería, and Cádiz, which lead the regional ranking by total sales volume.
