The agreement, with an initial duration of one year, aims to improve the knowledge, competitiveness, and anticipation capacity of cooperatives in the face of economic, commercial, and regulatory challenges. One of the key areas will be promoting the analysis and dissemination of information on agri-food markets, with reports prepared by the Grupo Cajamar Foundation and joint organization of webinars.
Furthermore, the commitment to training and developing cooperative talent will be reinforced through a Training Program for executives and aspiring executives, focused on strengthening management and leadership skills, and addressing the future challenges of the cooperative model.
The agreement also includes collaboration in presenting the socioeconomic impact study of the Law on Agri-food Cooperative Integration (LICA) and Priority Associative Entities (EAPs) in Spain.
As part of the agreement, Cajamar will support the organization of the Business Forum COGECA, a key event for agri-food cooperatives in the European Union, to be held in Almería on November 10th. This forum will bring together representatives from major European cooperatives to discuss the future of the single market and the role of cooperatives in strengthening it.
With this alliance, both entities consolidate their collaboration to generate knowledge, promote training, and strengthen the role of agri-food cooperatives in the economic and social development of rural areas.
