The Cadiz Free Trade Zone joins business and political leaders at the World Free Zones Congress in Panama, from May 12 to 14, to discuss the future of trade and economic development.

The Cadiz consortium has sent representatives to the Panamanian capital to participate in this significant global gathering. The delegation aims to strengthen the role of the Cadiz Free Trade Zone as an international platform, especially for startups within its Blue Economy ecosystem.
One such company, Eonsea, specializing in the inspection and monitoring of underwater infrastructure using robotics and Artificial Intelligence, will attend the event under the umbrella of Blue Core-Incubazul. Its presence seeks to promote its project and gain visibility in international markets.

"The meeting will seek to offer a strategic platform for dialogue and collaboration aimed at promoting resilient, digital, and sustainable growth in a transforming global economy."

The congress will also host the general assembly of the Association of Free Zones of the Americas (AZFA). This organization, together with the Cadiz Free Trade Zone, is already preparing the XXIX Ibero-American Free Zones Conference, which will take place in Cadiz from October 26 to 28 this year.
Spanish participation in the congress will include representatives from other free zones in the country, such as Vigo, Barcelona, Gran Canaria, and Tenerife. This event is crucial at a time of profound global transformation, marked by geopolitical changes, accelerated digitalization, and growing sustainability demands, aiming to redefine the role of free zones as drivers of competitiveness and inclusive growth.
