Technical delegations from the Provincial Tourism Board of the Cadiz Provincial Council participated in the Spanish Event 2026, an encounter organized by the Polish tour operator Nekera. This event took place in the Polish cities of Krakow, Warsaw, and Gdansk, aiming to position the Cadiz province in the growing Polish tourism market.
During the working sessions, the Board presented the advantages of the destination to an audience of 300 Polish travel agencies. The Polish market is considered of great interest, with a population exceeding 38 million, sustained economic growth, and high demand for international travel. Polish tourists are characterized by an average daily expenditure of 189 euros per person, making them a high-quality segment.
A key factor in this strategy is the direct air connection between Warsaw and Jerez de la Frontera airport, operational since 2025. This charter flight, managed by Enter Air in collaboration with TUI Poland, maintains a weekly frequency between May 1 and October 15, facilitating access for Polish travelers to the province.
Nekera, founded in February 2020 by Maciej Nykiel and a team of experienced professionals, is a Polish tour operator with a wide range of destinations, including a strong presence in the Mediterranean. The company boasts a solid distribution network in Poland, covering over 2,000 travel agencies and online sales channels, and markets complete packages including flights, accommodation, and in-destination services.
The potential of the Polish market for international tourism remains significant, driven by a robust economy, an expanding middle class, and increasing interest in foreign travel. Currently, Poland maintains over 260 weekly air connections with Spain during the summer season, underscoring the connectivity between both countries.
