The DIY and home improvement chain Brico Depôt has set May 21st as the opening date for its new establishment in Janer Commercial Park in San Fernando, joining other brands already present.

Janer Commercial Park in San Fernando is preparing for a new inauguration with the arrival of Brico Depôt, the renowned chain for DIY, home, and garden products. The opening is scheduled for May 21st, one month after the official announcement.
The news was confirmed by the mayor of San Fernando via her social media, highlighting the continuous expansion and consolidation of commercial offerings in the complex. Construction for this new establishment began in mid-last year, and its inauguration was planned for the first half of 2026.
Brico Depôt Iberia, part of the Kingfisher Group, currently operates 31 stores in Spain and Portugal, employing over 1,700 workers. Since its arrival in Spain in 2003, the company has been characterized by a policy of competitive prices and constant product availability in stock.
The arrival of Brico Depôt complements the diverse offerings of Janer Commercial Park, which already includes establishments such as the McDonald’s hamburger restaurant and the Plenoil gas station, operational since August and September 2023, respectively. The Danish furniture store Jysk joined in December 2024, the German chain Tedi in January 2025, and the Mercadona supermarket in April 2025. Other businesses like the VivaGym gym, Mascotas Ávila, and the German clothing store Kik are also part of this dynamic commercial space.
Recently, Janer Commercial Park was acquired by the American asset manager Ares Management, an operation that underscores the attractiveness and growth potential of this commercial hub in San Fernando.
