Demand for the BMW iX3 has exceeded the German brand's expectations, with production slots for 2026 and 2027 already filled. In response to this success, Automotor Costa, with its locations in Huércal de Almería and El Ejido, is introducing the Base version of the iX3 40, joining the existing M Sport and M Sport Pro trims. This new entry-level model maintains a high level of equipment despite its more accessible price point.
The update for this edition also brings technological novelties and customization options. Starting this summer, the iX3 will be available with nine new colors from the special BMW Individual collection, including pearlescent finishes like «Orinoco» and «Twilight Purple», metallics such as «Sepang Bronze» and «Java Green II», and solid colors like «Voodoo Blue». Additionally, new 21-inch M alloy wheels in gloss black and new interior combinations are offered.
Available extras include heated rear seats and the «Innovation» package, which features a 3D Head-Up Display, three-zone automatic climate control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. These technological enhancements aim to improve the driving experience and onboard comfort.
The Base version of the iX3 40 is equipped with a rear electric motor delivering 320 hp of power and 500 Nm of torque. This setup allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 km/h. The lithium-ion battery, with a net capacity of 82.6 kWh, provides a maximum range of up to 637 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle and supports fast charging up to 300 kW.
