The professional services firm Auren, supported by the Dutch fund Waterland Private Equity, is analyzing the potential acquisition of eight companies in the sector in Andalusia, seeking to strengthen its structure and expand its regional presence.

This inorganic growth strategy is part of a national plan that includes over 50 acquisition operations across Spain. In Andalusia, the target companies are located in the provinces of Seville, Malaga, Cadiz, Cordoba, and Almeria, with revenues ranging from one to fifteen million euros.

"We are currently in a phase of national growth. The recent entry of Waterland as a strategic partner provides us with additional momentum to accelerate this growth, consolidate our territorial presence, and continue integrating talent and new services. In Andalusia, we have eight integration operations for firms on the table that we are analyzing in various Andalusian provinces and across all divisions."

The entry of Waterland Private Equity into Auren's capital in March 2025 has provided the necessary resources for this expansion. The firm, which employs 105 people in its offices in Seville, Malaga, and Granada, offers consulting, auditing, legal advice, and corporate services.
In the 2024-2025 fiscal year, Auren recorded 12.3% growth, achieving a turnover of 104 million euros in Spain, of which 7.5 million came from Andalusia. The company seeks firms that share its values and culture, prioritizing a humanist philosophy in its acquisitions.
In addition to its focus on the agri-food and aeronautical sectors in the autonomous community, Auren plans to expand its attention to defense and renewable energy companies, such as green hydrogen and biogas. From its Seville office, the firm works with prominent clients such as the municipal water company Emasesa, the agri-food company Ángel Camacho, and the aeronautical firm Pilatus, as well as auditing important private and public companies.
