The Almería City Council has announced the launch of the third 'Consumer Vouchers' campaign on April 20, with a budget of 200,000 euros, aimed at revitalizing city center commerce affected by the Paseo construction works.

This municipal initiative will allow citizens to acquire up to five weekly vouchers, offering a five-euro discount for every 20 euros spent, resulting in a maximum saving of 25 euros per person per week. Vouchers can be used from Monday to Sunday until the available credit is exhausted.
Vouchers can be purchased online through the official campaign website 'www.elpaseopasoapaso.es/bonos-y-ayudas/', or in person at the Office for Merchant and Hostelry Support, located at Calle Alcalde Muñoz, 12, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This new phase, approved by the Local Government Board, continues a program initiated in February of last year in collaboration with the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Navigation and Services of Almería. To date, the municipal investment in these campaigns has amounted to 400,000 euros, reaching 600,000 euros with this third call.

"We maintain our economic support for commerce in line with the development and completion of the Paseo works. We want more Almerians to benefit from this initiative and shop in the center."

Ana Trigueros · Councillor for Employment, Commerce and Talent Promotion of the Almería City Council
Councillor Ana Trigueros highlighted the success of previous editions, where the 400,000 euros available were exhausted with the redemption of almost 80,000 vouchers (79,882, to be precise) and the participation of 115 businesses. The City Council is confident that these figures will be surpassed in the current call, having already contacted establishments in the area to inform and encourage them to join the initiative.
