The municipal company Aguas de Lucena has opened the tender process to contract the rental service of equipment and machinery with drivers. This service will be used for breakdown repairs, maintenance, and the renovation and implementation of networks and infrastructures managed by the public company.
The tender, processed through an open procedure and subject to harmonized regulation, has a base budget of 302,379 euros, including taxes. The initial contract duration will be two years, with the possibility of agreeing to two successive one-year extensions.
The service will provide different equipment and vehicles for civil works, such as opening and closing trenches, excavations, and earthmoving. It will also handle the removal and management of waste and debris generated. The contract includes the transport of machinery, specialized driver personnel, fuel, and equipment maintenance.
The tender documents establish availability requirements adapted to the basic and priority nature of the service. The awarded company must make the necessary means available to Aguas de Lucena within a maximum of one hour from the request for urgent actions. Furthermore, it must maintain an on-call service outside regular hours and on holidays, with a maximum arrival time of one and a half hours from notification.
The tender is structured using unit prices based on the hours of machinery and services actually performed, with a maximum annual budget of 124,950 euros, excluding VAT. Among the planned equipment are mini-excavators, rotating and backhoe excavators, forklifts, crane trucks, trucks with clamshell buckets, and platforms, among other means necessary for network interventions.
Through this contract, Aguas de Lucena aims to ensure the availability of auxiliary means to respond quickly to daily incidents in the supply and sanitation networks, and to reinforce operational capacity for scheduled conservation, renovation, and improvement of municipal hydraulic infrastructures.
