Adif Alta Velocidad has launched the tender process for the construction of the new Vera-Almanzora railway station, a strategic infrastructure for the Levante Almeriense region and the Mediterranean Corridor.

The contract, published in the Official Journal of the European Union, involves an investment of 15.69 million euros. This project covers the full execution of the construction plan, including both the terminal building and its associated urban development, with an estimated completion time of 18 months after the contract is awarded.
The selection of the construction company will be carried out through an open procedure that balances technical and economic criteria. Specifically, the economic offer will account for 51% of the final score, while the technical proposal will represent the remaining 49%, requiring a minimum score to qualify.
This project, which may be co-financed through FEDER European funds, has undergone an update to its administrative schedule. According to official information, the date set for the opening of economic bids is July 1, 2026.
