The project, promoted by the Department of Employment and Training, provides for an annual expenditure of 1.6 million euros. The main objective is to offer a flexible program that combines face-to-face and online modalities, facilitating access to professional qualification for people with different profiles and availability.
The strategy focuses on three lines of action. The first includes obtaining professional certificates in high-demand sectors, such as industry, energy, facility maintenance, food industries, commerce and marketing, as well as building and civil engineering. These pathways will last between 250 and 1,000 hours.
In addition, shorter specialization courses will be taught to respond quickly to new labor market demands. Training in languages, digital skills, and personal skills, which are increasingly valued by companies in their selection processes, will also be offered.
The design of this training offer is based on reports and needs identified by organizations such as LABORA, the SEPE Occupations Observatory, the València City Vocational Training Territorial Council, and the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV). This initiative will complement the training that the council already provides directly in areas such as hospitality, tourism, and sociocultural services.
