The National Police and the Civil Guard have held a coordination meeting in Alicante with business representatives and the private security sector to reinforce protection in industrial areas and improve collaboration against crime and cyberattacks.

The meeting, held at the Las Atalayas industrial estate, brought together representatives from the Federation of Business Parks of the Valencian Community, Associated Security Companies of the Valencian Community, and management entities of various business areas in the province. Representatives from industrial parks in Alicante, Elche, San Vicente del Raspeig, Alcoy, Elda, Villena, Orihuela, Monóvar, Mutxamel, San Isidro, and Villajoyosa, among other municipalities, participated.
During the event, issues related to the evolution of criminal activity in business environments were analyzed, as well as protocols for action and information exchange between State Security Forces and Corps, companies, and private security personnel. The problem of cybercrime and the main methods currently used by criminals to attack companies were also addressed. Police specialists provided recommendations for risk prevention.
Participating entities agreed on the need to continue promoting public-private collaboration and integrating security as a strategic element within business organizations. The role of private security personnel in business areas was highlighted, especially in preventive tasks and support to police forces.

"These types of meetings are fundamental to maintaining security in our industrial areas and adapting to new threats."
