The Plantil World project, winner of the 15th Start-up Creation Marathon of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) in Elche, has launched a new line of substrates designed for the most common indoor plants in homes. The goal is to offer precise and efficient solutions for indoor cultivation, eliminating humidity problems and innovating in cultivation techniques.
Among its developments is Evoter, a patented water isolation system that protects the root health of plants. This system, considered the first vertical cultivation system that cares for plants from their roots, isolates irrigation from the substrate's support, guiding tropical varieties safely and preventing excess moisture.
The substrates are specifically formulated for common indoor tropical plants found in homes, such as Alocasias, Aroides, Anthuriums, Calatheas, and Marantas. Plantil World has identified a lack of technical innovation and imprecise solutions in the indoor cultivation sector.
According to the project's founder, José Armando Lillo, «this milestone represents a huge step for the company. We believe a plant should not just survive, it should reach its maximum potential».
