The public company Sitval is in the final phase for the launch of the new provisional ITV station in Onda. After completing planning, space adaptation, and technical review, functional tests are being carried out to ensure its correct operation. The goal is to expedite the definitive authorization and open the service to the public as soon as possible.
Technical work has focused on verifying IT and measurement systems. Inspectors' PDAs, reading software, and data synchronization have been configured and checked. Additionally, regulatory calibration of the gas analyzer, opacimeter, and sound meter has been performed, with the corresponding issuance of validation sheets.
In parallel, basic structural reforms have been carried out to improve staff safety, such as the installation of sheet metal in the clearance plate corridor. Space organization in the auxiliary tent and the office cabin, including furniture and IT equipment, has also been completed.
The Conselleria d'Industria, led by Marián Cano, has thanked the involvement of the technical, maintenance, and organizational staff, highlighting their effort to prioritize the launch of critical equipment, which has accelerated the opening schedule.
Once the final details are concluded, the director of the Onda station will conduct a final supervision. Subsequently, the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE) will be notified of the plant's availability. This body will carry out the mandatory prior audit for the official start of inspection activities.
