The Valencian teams in the First Division show notable variations in their squad cost limits (LCPD) for this season. While Villarreal and Valencia CF are at similar levels to the previous season, with a slight decrease for the yellow team and a small increase for the Mestalla squad, Levante UD and Elche CF have seen their spending margin skyrocket.
LaLiga has announced the final figures, which set the maximum amount each entity can allocate to players, coaching staff, and other professional sections. These figures include not only salaries but also transfers, amortizations, and bonuses. Villarreal, with 170.5 million euros, experiences a 1.5% decrease from the previous 173 million, remaining the Valencian club with the highest limit. Valencia CF, on the other hand, goes from 95.6 million to 98.8 million, a 3.3% increase, after initially being assigned 75.3 million in the summer.
Elche CF shows a considerable increase, setting its limit at 60.14 million euros, 63.4% more than the 36.8 million in January. Despite starting the summer with 64 million, various operations have adjusted the final figure. The case of Levante UD is even more remarkable, with a current limit of 45.5 million, 161.4% higher than the 17.4 million in January. This increase represents a quadrupling of its spending capacity from the 11 million last summer.
In Liga Hypermotion, Castellón sees its limit increased to 15.4 million, up from the 11.5 million it had in the past winter transfer window. Eldense, recently promoted, has an LCPD of 5.7 million to face its season in the second tier. These new figures from LaLiga define the economic framework for the sporting planning of Valencian clubs.
