The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Innovation, and Commerce, Marián Cano, expressed her satisfaction, highlighting that the data consolidates the Community's position as the third autonomous region receiving the most investment in Spain, accounting for 14.8% of the national total. "The indicators point to a positive dynamic that demonstrates the interest our territory is generating," stated Cano, emphasizing that in the first half, growth has already reached 100% compared to the overall figure for 2025.
Investments were primarily concentrated in capital increases (64%), followed by new investments ('greenfield' and 'brownfield') totaling 24.7%, and acquisitions (11.2%). The province of Valencia leads absorption with 1.471 million euros (80%), ahead of Alicante (257 million, 14%) and Castellón (117 million, 6%).
By country, France stands out as the main investor with 793 million euros (43%), followed by Italy (233 million), Germany (200 million), Japan (196 million), and the United States (109 million). These five countries account for 83% of the total investment.
Sectorally, the food industry attracted the largest share of investment with 544 million euros. Other notable sectors include transport and logistics (320 million), manufacturing of electrical materials and equipment (206 million), and manufacturing of computer and electronic products (155 million). Significant investments were also received by the manufacturing of transport equipment (100 million), the chemical industry (100 million), and real estate activities (93 million).
