The necessity of boosting industrial land in the Foia de Castalla region is one of the demands that local business owners have conveyed to the Minister of Industry, Innovation, Commerce, and Tourism, Marian Cano.
The Association of Business Owners of Foia de Castalla (Ibiae) held an institutional meeting with the Minister, where various strategic issues affecting the economic development of the region were addressed. The association's representatives presented the main concerns of the local business community.
One of the central topics of the meeting was the urgency of promoting the development of industrial land in the region, as well as the status of available land in neighboring towns. The objective is to encourage the growth and establishment of new companies in Foia de Castalla.
“"The occupation of industrial areas ranges between 75% in Tibi and 95% in Ibi, while in Castalla it stands at 85% and Onil at 80%."
During the meeting, Ibiae representatives provided updated economic information about Foia de Castalla, offering a detailed insight into the business reality of the territory and its growth needs. Recent data indicated that the region has 1,147 companies that invoiced 2,305 million euros in one year.
Furthermore, Ibiae presented to the Minister the new projects the association is working on, aimed at strengthening business competitiveness, fostering innovation, and generating new economic development opportunities in Foia de Castalla. This meeting is part of the entity's efforts to reinforce dialogue with public administrations and directly communicate the needs of the region's business fabric.
