The business community, public institutions, and third-sector entities gathered today in Crevillent to consolidate collaboration networks that promote citizen well-being and territorial sustainability.

Cruz Roja (Red Cross) and Veolia held a new session of the 5th Business Forum in the Alicante municipality, highlighting the real impact of shared social responsibility. This initiative, which has already held similar sessions in Benidorm and Alcoy, has this year extended for the first time to the province of Valencia with various business meetings.
Daniel Coloma, territorial manager of Veolia, opened the meeting, recalling the company's historical link with Crevillent since 1996 in water management, emphasizing its five objectives: solidarity, sustainable development, respect, innovation, and citizen orientation.
Amelia Navarro, Director of Sustainability, Equity, and Social Action for Veolia in the Valencian Community, detailed the firm's social action strategic pillars: educational opportunities, creation of sustainable communities, and job generation. She highlighted the added value of water management and its territorial awareness, relying on periodic reports to transparently audit its contribution.
On behalf of Cruz Roja, Miguel Mérida stressed the importance of alliances, from large corporations to small businesses, and the challenge of maintaining them through volunteering and awareness with maximum transparency. Vicente Planelles, local president of Cruz Roja in Crevillent, thanked the business and municipal commitment for sustaining vital projects such as the employment plan for vulnerable profiles, integration programs for immigrants, and aid for extreme need.
In the debate panel, Sergio Lledó (Enercoop) pointed to economic profit as the driver for allocating social resources, Nazaret Requena (Cableworld) explained how social responsibility is the core of her firm through a foundation, Noelia Manresa (Alannia Costa Blanca) emphasized integral sustainability and proximity contracting, and Enrique Ortolá (Cárnicas Ortolá) highlighted the strength of cross-sector alliances regardless of business size.
The provincial president of Cruz Roja, Francisco Galvañ, defined the entity as a reliable partner. Finally, the mayoress of Crevillent, Lourdes Aznar, closed the forum, thanking the locality for being chosen and praising the corporate social responsibility of the participating companies.
