This Easter Sunday, the archipelago's air terminals will manage approximately 1,470 operations. Gran Canaria Airport will be the busiest, with 434 flights, 146 of which are international.
Following in terms of operations are Tenerife North Airport, with 275 flights, and Tenerife South Airport, which will register 239. Meanwhile, Lanzarote Airport will reach 230 flights during this day.
For Easter Monday, a day with less movement, Gran Canaria Airport will again lead with 401 operations. Tenerife North Airport expects 236 flights, and Tenerife South, 209. Lanzarote Airport will operate 176 flights.
Easter Week has been a period of high tourist demand, with hotel occupancy exceeding 90% due to the influx of foreign visitors, especially Germans, Scandinavians, and Britons. Between March 27 and April 6, Canary Islands airports have scheduled a total of 15,019 operations to meet this demand.
