Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte has announced the first auction of land for free-market housing within its development. The two plots are located in Las Tablas Oeste, each covering approximately 2,000 square meters with about 10,000 square meters of residential buildable area, allowing for the development of around 100 homes per plot.
The sites also include space for common areas and 2,000 square meters of commercial space distributed over two floors. The auction will be conducted through a digital platform in late November, enabling interested parties to consult documentation and submit their bids.
This initiative coincides with the progress of urbanization works in Las Tablas Oeste, the first area of Madrid Nuevo Norte to commence these activities. This zone spans 305,000 square meters and plans for the construction of 741 homes, of which 37% will be owned by the Madrid City Council. Additionally, over 91,000 square meters will be dedicated to green spaces and public areas.
The two plots being auctioned are part of the seven planned for Las Tablas Oeste: six for free-market housing and one for protected housing. Crea Madrid Nuevo Norte's strategy with this auction is to attract new real estate operators to drive the initial projects and strengthen the development's financial capacity.

The overall Madrid Nuevo Norte project will transform approximately 2.3 million square meters, featuring around 10,500 homes and 400,000 square meters of new green spaces. It will also include new transport infrastructure, public spaces, and a new economic hub around the Chamartín station.
