The Community of Madrid has integrated the visualization of medical tests performed in Madrid's public healthcare system into the Virtual Health Card (TSV). Citizens will be able to access results for X-rays, computed tomography scans (CT scans), MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms, among others, via their mobile phones.
The Minister of Digitalization, Miguel López-Valverde, highlighted that this new feature "represents another step towards bringing health information closer to Madrid's residents, making it easier for them to consult their diagnostic studies simply, securely, and from anywhere, with all the convenience the TSV offers".
To access this functionality, users must go to the 'My Health Folder' section within the app, tap on 'Reports and Results', and then on 'Imaging Tests'. Next to the usual download icon, a new button will appear to open the image viewer and check the studies obtained at the hospital or health center.
This way, patients can view their tests whenever needed without having to travel to the health center to request them.
The Virtual Health Card currently has over 3.9 million registered users and offers 76 services and approximately 228 functionalities. The regional government continuously updates the platform to meet the needs of Madrid's residents and enhance their experience with the Madrid Health Service (SERMAS).
