Next Thursday, Madrid Emprende will hold the Demo Day for the 9th edition of its Acceleration Program, where eight startups will present their projects to investors and industry professionals.

The business incubator of Villaverde, part of the Madrid Emprende network and promoted by the Madrid City Council, will host the Demo Day for the 9th edition of its Acceleration Program on June 11. The event, held at the business incubator in Vicálvaro, will gather startups, entrepreneurship ecosystem professionals, innovation and investment agents, and business growth support entities.
This event marks the culmination of six months of intensive work, specialized mentoring, training, and strategic support for the participating projects. During this period, the startups have refined their business models, validated their solutions, developed commercial strategies, prepared their pitches, and explored new avenues for growth.

"The startups participating in this edition reflect the talent, innovation capacity, and entrepreneurial ambition that exists in Madrid. From the City Council, we continue to promote programs that help transform innovative ideas into solid and scalable projects."

Ángel Niño · Delegate Councilor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Madrid City Council
The accelerated projects will present their solutions through pitches to a professional jury composed of Carolina Benguigui (CEO of Kleo), Carlos Ignacio Franco Alonso (representative of CDTI), and Jaime Reneses (business angel, co-founder of TechLABS). The jury will evaluate each project's value proposition, innovation, communication, scalability, and progress.
The event will feature a keynote speech titled “Challenges in Startup Growth,” delivered by Carlos Rodríguez (partner at Product Hackers and CFO of startups). Following this, a panel discussion titled “How to Make the Leap: Internationalization, Spin-off, or Exit” will take place, with participants including José Carlos Pulido (founder and CEO of Inrobics), David Márquez (former CEO of Madrid Innovation Driven Ecosystem), and Evelio Jimeno (founder of EJ Innovation).
The event will conclude with the presentation of diplomas and the award for the best pitch, in a closing ceremony attended by delegate councilor Ángel Niño. Finally, a networking space will be provided to foster connections among startups, professionals, support entities, and investors.
The Acceleration Program, part of Madrid Emprende's free services, has supported high-growth potential startups for six months, offering mentoring, training, coaching, and access to resources to strengthen their business models and market positioning.
The participating startups in this edition cover sectors such as artificial intelligence, digital health, mobility, marketplaces, visual marketing, human resources, and technology applied to traditional sectors. Among them are Talky Labs (restaurant management automation), Rookfy (bicycle rental marketplace), Jubenial (real estate marketplace for seniors), Evidence-Based Behavior (eB2) (AI-powered mental health platform), PhotoILike (AI for predicting commercial image appeal), Innzpira Analytics (operating system for HR consultancies), MiniTales (AI children's story app), and Healmind (AI-driven mental health ecosystem).
The Madrid Emprende business incubator network offers coworking spaces, free advice, training activities, and networking events, in addition to private offices at very affordable public prices, as part of its commitment to entrepreneurship and innovation in the city.
