Colmenar Viejo launches technological innovation grants for businesses

The City Council allocates 200,000 euros to subsidize digitalization and modernization of local businesses until July 14.

The Colmenar Viejo City Council has opened the call for technological innovation, digitalization, and new technologies grants for businesses and self-employed individuals in the municipality, with a budget of 200,000 euros.

The application submission period will be open until July 14. This initiative aims to facilitate investment in digital transformation and modernization of economic activity for the self-employed, micro-enterprises, and other legal entities with fiscal domicile in Colmenar Viejo.
The call offers a subsidy of 50% of eligible expenses, with a maximum grant of 2,000 euros per applicant on an investment of up to 4,000 euros (excluding VAT). Subsidizable expenses must have been invoiced and paid between January 1, 2025, and June 2, 2026.
Individuals, micro-enterprises, civil partnerships, community of goods, cooperatives, and other corporate forms with fiscal domicile in the municipality are eligible for these grants. Subsidizable investments include the acquisition of point-of-sale terminals (POS), computers, tablets, geolocation systems, video surveillance cameras, commercial modernization, advertising actions on social media and media, and the implementation of artificial intelligence and automation solutions.
The main objective is to enable entrepreneurs and small businesses to adapt to the current digitalized environment, improving their competitiveness and growth potential. The total allocation for the subsidy amounts to 200,000 euros.
