Alcobendas has welcomed new Business Ambassadors, key executives in strategic sectors such as digital infrastructure and telecommunications, to reinforce its economic standing.

Alcobendas has expanded its Business Ambassador network with the addition of new executives linked to strategic activities such as digital infrastructure, telecommunications, engineering, and investment. The initiative, promoted by the Fundación Ciudad de Alcobendas, seeks to further strengthen the municipality's business representation and consolidate its position as one of Spain's leading economic centers.
The appointment ceremony was attended by the mayoress of Alcobendas, Rocío García Alcántara, who presented the recognitions to the new program members.
The new Business Ambassadors for Alcobendas include Francisco Ramírez, country manager of DATA4 España; Pedro Abad, CEO of ASTEO; Silvia Roldán, general director of RDT; and Bahias Baghdadi, president of Baghdadi Capital. The inclusion of these profiles broadens the presence of sectors related to technological transformation, connectivity, engineering, and investment within a network that gathers executives with national and international influence and projection.
According to the Fundación Ciudad de Alcobendas, this expansion will increase the program's sectoral representation and foster new opportunities for business collaboration. The Alcobendas Business Ambassador Program is driven by the Fundación Ciudad de Alcobendas through Alcobendas Hub, in collaboration with the Alcobendas City Council and the Association of Businessmen of Alcobendas (AICA).
Its purpose is to recognize executives and business leaders connected to the municipality who contribute to enhancing the city's standing in the economic and business sphere. The initiative also serves as a platform for connection between companies, institutions, and organizations, promoting synergy creation and joint project development.
With the new additions, the program achieves greater diversity of profiles from activities considered strategic for the local economy. Represented companies and entities include those related to the automotive industry, health, education, retail, technology, business services, and innovation.
