The Fagor Group contributed 3.1 million euros to various social initiatives last year, allocating 12% of its profits to its social fund, surpassing the legally required 10%. The majority of this contribution, 1.8 million euros, remained within the Debagoiena region, supporting local development and sustainability.

Among the regional initiatives, several projects linked to the Debagoiena 2030 sustainability network were supported, such as the Plaza Bizi program to promote sustainable mobility around the Arima Zubi area. Additionally, Fagor became a collaborating partner of the Esnargi energy community in Eskoriatza and supported the Tokixan project for food sovereignty in Debagoiena.
In the educational field, aid was channeled to the Hirekin innovation and entrepreneurship center for sustainable industrial transformation, to the Torrebaso 2030 project of Arizmendi Ikastola in Eskoriatza, and to Huhezi's (Mondragon University) Kolaborategi. The group's cooperatives made contributions totaling 251,000 euros to various associations in the municipalities of Debagoiena.
Internal initiatives also held significant importance, with an investment of 810,000 euros. These include the Basque language plans of the cooperatives (753,000 euros), the Fagor Mugi program to promote sustainable mobility for commuting, and Fagor Elkarrekin to involve cooperative members in social initiatives. Nationally, 144,000 euros were allocated to initiatives, of which 120,000 euros were through the Fagor Herrigintza collaboration program.
Regarding international solidarity, a contribution of 314,000 euros was made. The largest portion of this aid, 304,000 euros, was received by the Mundukide Foundation, which promotes community development in developing countries.
