The minister explained that the update to the urbanization project has already been awarded, a key step to develop this area and increase the available business land in the municipality. The Xunta's forecast is to begin the bidding process for the construction works of this new park this year, which will have an area of almost 260,000 m².
Lorenzana indicated that the objective of this update is to adapt the existing project to the real execution needs and to the technical and economic criteria that will govern the subsequent bidding for the works. It also aims to facilitate greater coordination between the project's drafting, the contracting, and the future execution of the tasks.
This action is part of a broader plan that includes 4.2 million m² of business land in processing, urbanization, or execution in the province of A Coruña.
