The Sant Quirze del Vallès City Council opened the application period today, October 21st, for subsidies aimed at fostering local economic activity, with an initial allocation of €40,000.

The aid is aimed at self-employed individuals and companies with fewer than 50 employees in the commerce, services, and industry sectors. The goal is to boost the creation of new businesses and support the consolidation of existing ones.
The subsidies are structured into two lines, with a maximum of €6,000 per application: Line A, to foster the creation of new economic activities, and Line B, to support companies and self-employed individuals during their initial years of operation. The two lines are incompatible.
This year, an extraordinary call has also been approved for economic activities that were not beneficiaries of the 2025 aid, thus expanding access opportunities.
The deadline to submit applications, for both the ordinary and extraordinary calls, is November 17th. Applications must be submitted exclusively electronically through the municipal electronic office, along with the relevant supporting documentation.
Interested parties can consult the regulatory bases, specific requirements for each line, and necessary documentation on the municipal website's related procedure. For further information, contact the City Council's Economic Promotion Service at +34 93.721.68.00.
