The Sant Fruitós de Bages City Council hosted the 1st Meeting of Self-Employed and Entrepreneurs in the municipality last Wednesday. This initiative brought together local professionals with the aim of facilitating mutual acquaintance, exchange of experiences, and the creation of a collaboration network to strengthen the local economic fabric.
The session began with a welcome from the mayor, Joan Carles Batanés, and the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Carme Cruz, who welcomed the attendees and inaugurated the event.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to present their projects and professional activities, share daily challenges and needs, and establish contacts for potential collaborations and new business opportunities.
This initiative continues previous municipal actions aimed at the self-employed and entrepreneur collective, with the aim of maintaining close contact, listening to their needs, and promoting relationship spaces that respond to their reality.
The long-term objective is to consolidate a community of self-employed and entrepreneurs in Sant Fruitós de Bages, which goes beyond one-off meetings and becomes a space for connection, mutual support, and value generation for the municipality.
The meeting also served to gather the concerns and needs of the collective, with a view to identifying possible lines of action and municipal services that can address them.
