Following the publication of the call for applications in the Butlletí Oficial de la Província de Barcelona, companies in Vallès Oriental can now submit their applications for the awards. The deadline is October 5th.
The Lismivo Awards aim to publicly recognize and value the social work of companies that promote the labor integration of people with disabilities, as well as their actions in corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Capital companies or cooperatives with a workplace in Vallès Oriental that employ people with disabilities at that center are eligible for the award. Companies that are special employment centers (CET) or labor insertion companies are excluded.
The evaluation of applications will consider aspects such as job reservation for people with disabilities, the percentage of disabled employees, the application of alternative measures to the reservation quota, the hiring of women with disabilities, the number and duration of contracts, as well as the acquisition of products or services from special employment centers or labor inclusion entities.
The award consists of a Dona d’Aigua (Water Woman) sculpture, crafted by the Taller Alborada, and the publication of promotional articles in the regional press to highlight the winning companies.
With this edition, the Lismivo Awards reach their tenth year, consolidated as a significant initiative of the Xarxa Lismivo network to promote equal opportunities in the workplace and value companies' commitment to inclusion.
Previous award recipients include companies such as Dara Pharma, Fundació Hospital Asil de Granollers, Arkema Química, TI Group Automotive Systems, Adidas España, Fraikin, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, and Caro Import SL.
