Port Tarragona Achieves 8.41 Customer Satisfaction Score

Port Tarragona has achieved an overall score of 8.41 out of 10 in its Customer and User Satisfaction Study, an increase of 0.6 points from the 2022 rating.

The overall rating for the Tarragona port facility has grown by 0.6 points since the last survey in 2022, rising from 7.81 to 8.41 out of 10. This increase reflects a positive evolution in user satisfaction with the various services evaluated. The study, conducted by CERES – Sociological and Market Research, surveyed 158 representative individuals from ten different user profiles linked to the port, achieving a 74% response rate.
The most highly rated aspects by users include staff professionalism, communication and coordination between services, safety, technical quality of operations, and the knowledge and experience of the teams. These elements are key to the port's positive perception.
Navigation and draft infrastructure received a score of 8.89, improving by 0.2 points from 2022, while storage infrastructure reached 8.22 (+0.36). The port's connections to the general road network (8.41) and the Movable Bridge (8.28) also received high marks.
The study also indicates the need for new infrastructure to enhance the port's shelter, increase storage capacity, and strengthen road and rail access. Planned investments, such as the Contradic de Ponent and rail access projects, address these demands, with planned investments receiving an average rating of 7.87.
