The initiative, aimed at showcasing the ideas and projects of younger generations, has formalized collaboration agreements with key companies in the Penedès region. Miguel Torres S.A., Casa Ametller, Güell S.A., DPR Automatismos, Gedia, and Llach Serra & Associats are renewing their commitment, while Innova and Pere Valls join for the first time. This business diversity reinforces the connection between the corporate world and local young talent.
InsightPenedès offers companies the chance to closely observe innovative youth proposals, and provides young participants with a platform to present their projects. The contest serves as a meeting point for youth, businesses, and institutions, applying creativity to regional challenges.
The third edition sees growing participation and proposals addressing areas such as sustainability, mobility, technology, viticulture, climate change, natural resources, and social inclusion. Previously awarded projects, including the Oyster Biosensor, EmbàsDF (wildfire prevention), and the Map of Medieval Castles of the Crown of Aragon, have continued their development and received subsequent recognition.
The contest, recognized by the Catalan Local Governments' Good Practices Bank, targets individuals aged 16 to 35, working alone or in teams, to foster youth innovation and creativity in addressing regional challenges.
