The multinational Indra has announced an ambitious expansion plan in Catalonia, including the creation of 1,500 new jobs by 2027 and a significant increase in its turnover.

This growth strategy foresees Tarragona gaining significant importance, with the establishment of new locations in the Tarragona region. The company aims to increase its turnover in Catalonia to 550 million euros, representing a 50% rise compared to 2025.

"The objective is to make the company one of the top ten job creators in Catalonia."

Currently, Indra has approximately 3,500 employees in the community and eight operational offices. In addition to territorial expansion, the plan includes the construction of a new "flagship" building in Barcelona and a strategic focus on key sectors such as cybersecurity, industrial digitalization, defense, space, and communications.
The company believes that Tarragona can play a fundamental role in this growth, thanks to its industrial and technological potential, especially in areas related to innovation and digital transformation.
