The new entity, officially established this week, aims to provide stability to the solidarity initiatives that the sector has developed over the last nine years. Its priority lines of action include support for vulnerable groups, pediatric research, specialized training, and the promotion of equal opportunities.
The project, which was unveiled at an event at the Trinitat Castle in Roses, seeks to transform the tourism model towards a regenerative approach. This strategy aims for tourism activity not only to minimize its impact but to actively contribute to improving people's quality of life and preserving local heritage.
The foundation will also promote the 'Càmpings amb cor' brand, which will group the sector's solidarity actions, including scholarship programs for sustainable tourism management studies and itinerant initiatives to involve guests in participatory activities and micro-donations.
