The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Camp de Tarragona and Terres de l'Ebre has recorded an increase of one tenth during June, standing at 3.3% year-on-year.

According to data published by the National Statistics Institute (INE), products related to housing, water, electricity, and fuels have experienced the most significant price increase compared to the previous year. This group has gone from a 1.6% increase in May to 5.1% in June, mainly due to the rise in electricity prices and, to a lesser extent, gas.
Other categories that have also seen price increases include clothing and footwear, as well as alcoholic beverages and tobacco. The restaurant and accommodation services sector has also registered a rise, moving from 5.1% to 6%.
Conversely, a decrease is observed in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.4%), transport (4%), and insurance and financial products (3.5%) in the region.
During the last month, prices in the region have grown by 0.9%, one tenth above the Catalan average. This increase coincides with the end of the tax reductions on electricity and gas applied by the Spanish government.
