The Baix Ebre Regional Council closed 2025 having mobilized nearly 3 million euros in resources for the territory and covering 70% of the managed job offers.

These figures reinforce the economic activation model promoted by the Business Promotion and Active Employment Policies Area. The investment includes approximately 800,000 euros in hiring aid, 1.9 million euros from the Nuclear Transition Fund, and over 500,000 euros from other state and Catalan aid lines. These funds have enabled business growth, generated new hires, and consolidated projects in the region, as well as the purchase of new equipment.

"In Baix Ebre, what we do is already tangible: in the form of jobs, companies, and projects moving forward. These are real results that reach people and have a direct impact on their daily lives."

Antoni Gilabert · President of the Baix Ebre Regional Council
One of the most notable indicators is the ability to meet labor market needs, with almost 70% of managed offers being filled. This success is due to personalized support for job seekers and assistance to companies needing to incorporate talent.

"We are not talking about generic assistance, but rather one-on-one support that allows everyone to have their own path to a job opportunity. This facilitates talent retention in the territory and enables companies to find profiles without having to look elsewhere."

Sergi Curto · First Vice-President of the Baix Ebre Regional Council
During 2025, a total of 1,185 people were assisted through the Socio-Labor Insertion Device and the Job Bank, with presence both at the Regional Council and in the municipalities of the region. Nearly 500 of these individuals followed an individualized itinerary, with personalized support to improve their employability through training, guidance, or access to job offers.
Training has been a fundamental pillar, with over 1,000 students participating in 43 workshops held in 11 educational centers, with an investment exceeding 300,000 euros and female participation surpassing 54%. Regarding entrepreneurial activity, in 2025, 119 projects were promoted and 34 new companies were created, contributing to generating economic activity and opportunities in the territory. This cooperation model between administration, businesses, and educational centers, based on understanding local needs, advised over 200 companies during the year.
