CaixaBank has held the second edition of the Generation + meetings in Barcelona, an initiative that combines outreach on healthy longevity with the recognition of social impact projects.

The event, held at the entity's corporate headquarters, served to present financial and non-financial solutions designed to promote the well-being and autonomy of older people. During the event, emphasis was placed on the importance of adopting healthy habits, such as physical exercise and cognitive health care, to face aging with an active attitude.
As a novelty this year, the Generation + Awards were presented, promoted in collaboration with VidaCaixa and SegurCaixa Adeslas. These awards recognized three local figures for their contribution in areas such as care for young people with mental disorders, social inclusion through housing, and geriatrics.
The entity, which has more than four million clients over 65, maintains a priority service model certified by AENOR. Measures implemented include specific training for thousands of employees, the adaptation of ATMs, and personalized service via telephone and digital channels.
