betevé and Grup Comunicació 21 have formalized a strategic alliance to promote local journalism, plural information, and territorial roots in Barcelona and its metropolitan area.

This collaboration between both entities primarily aims to strengthen the local communication ecosystem, highlighting the importance of quality and accessible information for citizens. Both companies agree on the need to establish alliances that provide complementarity and added value, without generating direct audience competition.
The agreement is part of a shared commitment to contribute to informational pluralism and territorial cohesion, guaranteeing citizens' right to access quality local content. This initiative reinforces cooperation between communication operators linked to the territory and public audiovisual service.

"We share with Línia a way of explaining Barcelona from the street, from the neighborhoods, and from people's daily lives. This alliance allows us to expand the impact of this useful, rigorous journalism connected to the real city."

The agreement stipulates that Grup Comunicació 21 will provide informational and corporate monitoring of betevé, recognizing it as a consolidated and expanding multi-channel medium within Barcelona's audiovisual sector. Institutional dissemination and visibility actions for betevé across the editorial group's various publications are also planned.
For its part, betevé will incorporate corporate promotional audiovisual pieces from Línia into informative and debate programs on Barcelona's public television, such as Infobarris, Via 15, and Bàsics. This measure will allow the network of local newspapers to project its brand through a new channel and reach a wider potential audience.

"The close collaboration between the different reference operators, such as betevé and Línia, in order to mutually strengthen themselves and be more competitive in an increasingly complex environment for media."
