The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has achieved a transparency index of 81.6 percent in 2025, representing an improvement of 28.9 percentage points compared to 2023.

This achievement stems from the latest review conducted by the Transparency and Good Governance Council (CTBG), a state body responsible for promoting information transparency and ensuring citizen access to public information. The CTBG's evaluation considers the publication of regulatory content, as well as the structuring, accessibility, clarity, reusability, and updating of information.
The transparency index for Puertos de Tenerife has shown continuous growth since 2021, when it stood at 19.5 percent. In 2022, it reached 33.2 percent, and in 2023, it was 52.7 percent, before the improvement recorded last year.
The areas with the highest compliance rates are information of legal relevance (one hundred percent), followed by institutional, organizational, and planning information (88.6 percent), and economic, budgetary, and statistical information (78.4 percent).

"Achieving a compliance level of 81.6 percent reflects the significant effort made by the Port Authority to reinforce transparency and provide citizens with more accessible, clear, and up-to-date public information. We have advanced almost 29 points since 2023 and more than 60 since 2021, an evolution that confirms we are working in the right direction."
