Grupo FSM commemorates 65 years of business in the Canary Islands, consolidating its growth through sectoral diversification and a strong commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Founded in the sixties, the group has evolved from its first public work, the Escuela Unitaria de Montaña Alta, expanding its activities into construction, agriculture, and water management. Milestones such as its real estate development in the 70s, agricultural expansion to become the largest banana producer in the Canary Islands in the 90s, and investment in infrastructure like desalination plants and quarries mark its history.
Currently, Grupo FSM operates in six business areas: FSM Agricultura, FSM Construcción, FSM Inmobiliaria, FSM Energías, FSM Aguas, and FSM Hospitality. Modernization and digitalization are key pillars for a new phase, driving projects that integrate technology, sustainability, and efficiency.
A notable example is the transformation of papaya packaging at FSM Agricultura, where artificial intelligence and robotics have increased productivity by 45%. The new system individually classifies and weighs each fruit, optimizing the process and ensuring traceability.
Sustainability is reinforced with pioneering projects like agrivoltaics at Finca Rosita, Gáldar, which combines agricultural production with solar energy generation. The generated energy is used for water desalination, promoting a circular economy model.
FSM Construcción is advancing its digital transformation with advanced management tools for real-time analysis of construction projects. Additionally, digital platforms are being developed to enhance customer experience, such as real-time tracking of concrete orders at Hormican.
With a long-term vision and strategic coherence, Grupo FSM considers talent a fundamental asset, employing over 600 professionals. The company maintains its commitment to the Archipelago's development, working 'WITH the Canary Islands, FOR the Canary Islands, and FOR the Canary Islands'.
