The Cabildo de La Gomera has initiated a series of meetings this week with the island's business sector to coordinate the upcoming edition of the 'Yo compro en La Gomera' Consumption Voucher, a program designed to revitalize local commerce and hospitality.

The island institution, through its president, has emphasized the importance of these informative meetings to communicate the campaign's novelties and implementation details. The goal is to foster active participation from the business community in this initiative, which has already injected over 8 million euros into the island's commercial and restaurant sectors.

"This initiative would represent a significant advance in the digitalization and competitiveness of the island's commercial sector, whose use will be implemented throughout the year, building customer loyalty and being compatible with the two usual Consumption Voucher campaigns."

the Councilor for Tourism, Commerce, and Consumption
Among the main innovations for this edition, the Councilor for Tourism, Commerce, and Consumption has highlighted the study for the possible implementation of a Digital Loyalty System. This tool, aimed at local businesses, would allow for personalized promotions, strengthen customer relationships, and provide access to relevant information on consumption habits.
Attendance at these sessions is crucial for businesses to learn about the program's benefits, resolve doubts regarding the adhesion process, and evaluate the opportunities this campaign offers to attract new customers, increase sales, and strengthen the local economy.
The meetings will take place in various municipalities across the island. The first session was held on Wednesday, May 6, in Valle Gran Rey. Subsequently, on Thursday, May 7, meetings will be held in Agulo and Hermigua. On Friday, May 8, the meetings will move to Alajeró. Finally, on Monday, May 11, there will be another session in Alajeró, and on Thursday, May 14, the itinerary will conclude in San Sebastián de La Gomera.
