Almería Economists Award 2025 for Crash Music on Institution's 25th Anniversary

The Almería Professional College of Economists has presented the 2025 Economy Award to the music promoter Crash Music, acknowledging its role in boosting provincial tourism and economy during its 25th anniversary.
The collegiate institution celebrated its 25th anniversary with the annual award ceremony, which this year honored Crash Music. The award recognizes entities whose economic and social impact is fundamental for the growth of the province of Almería, this time acknowledging the promoter's ability to make music a pillar of tourism and development.
The day included the Ordinary General Assembly, where the activity report and annual accounts for 2025 were presented and approved. Subsequently, there were emotional moments with the swearing-in of new members and the presentation of silver and gold badges to professionals with 25 and 50 years of service, reaffirming the institution's commitment to generational change and excellence.
The dean, Ana Moreno, highlighted the entity's solidity after a quarter-century, stating that the College has been "a meeting point, an expert voice in economic debate, and a benchmark for professionals contributing to our province's development." She emphasized the profession's necessity in times of digital transformation and sustainability.

The award was presented to Diego Ferrón, CEO of Crash Music, along with his partners Antonio Alcaraz and Alejandro Molina, by José Ángel Vélez, Secretary General of Cultural Innovation and Museums of the Regional Government of Andalusia. The dean noted that Crash Music exemplifies how culture can be an economic driver, transforming creativity into industry and placing it at the service of collective development.

Diego Ferrón added that the award serves as an incentive to continue growing and professionalizing the sector, aiming for more inclusive, egalitarian, and sustainable events. The gala was supported by authorities including the Government delegate, Aranzazu Martín, and the first deputy mayor of the Almería City Council, Sacra Sánchez, who praised the work of economists and Crash Music's contribution.
The Vice President of the Provincial Council, Álvaro Izquierdo, and the Secretary General of Cultural Innovation and Museums of the Regional Government of Andalusia, José Ángel Vélez, also congratulated the College on its anniversary and Crash Music for its excellence and commitment to inclusion, highlighting the growth of the cultural sector in Andalusia.
The closing remarks were delivered by the president of the General Council of Economists of Spain, Miguel Ángel Vázquez Taín, who thanked the members for their collaboration and recalled that economics is a social science with a humanist vocation, whose direct societal impact is guaranteed by chartered professionals.
The evening, hosted by the College's secretary, Carlos J. Cano, featured a musical performance by artist Arco and a subsequent cocktail reception.
